My lecturing background
I have been mentoring, teaching and lecturing in photography for 9 years across a variety of courses and on numerous educational levels. I'm currently a lecturer on the M.A. in Photography and Society at the Royal College of Art in the Hague, and an associate lecturer on the part-time M.A. in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication in the U.K, two of Europe’s leading masters programs.
I lecture in both technical and conceptual subjects, mentor students working towards their final Master’s degree projects and teach several topics including documentary photography, photojournalism, visual storytelling, personal projects and long-form documentary projects.
I'm regularly invited to participate in symposia and conferences, including at Kings College London, London College of Communication and The University of Otago, New Zealand. I was recently invited to speak at a TEDx event in Geneva and I have also participated in conferences and guest lecturers at the International School in Geneva.
